Description
The QUAD 1024 1ki /1024 is a high performance quasi-absolute
optical encoder mounted on a motor assembly. They offer high
resolution up to 4,096,000 counts per rotation with a maximum
accuracy error of +/- 0.005 mechanical degrees within one 360
degree rotation. The analog sine/cosine signals (A,B) from the
incremental encoder is signal-conditioned and interpolated by
a factor of 1000x by the built-in hardware interpolator chip.
The signal conditioning incorporates online, real time
algorithm that features automatic signal gain and offset
correction, as well as, factor based phase correction.
